lyrics
There we were on the vast sea.
You grasped me tightly as we floated and whispered of your devotion.
“I’ll never leave your side.”
The wind began to roar.
Our magnificent eve turned to overwhelming chaos.
You grasped me tighter in an embrace not of love, but sheer terror.
I was helpless. What could I do?

Some friends told me to check "T R N A", when I asked for a good Black Metal band without vocals. This was the first album I checked. I brought the whole disco by now.
A Drop In The Ocean is like being a drop in the ocean of emotions.
The whole disco is like this song. As a listener you are constantly dragged into your emotions. All of them! I cried, I laughed, I felt sorrow , I wanted to die and felt more alive then ever. I was on top of the world and deep down below. It is a journey for sure. coffinworm

For me: this live album has the best rendition of Vertigo. Sunbather's mixing of Vertigo close to a decade ago didn't do Deafheaven's vocal performance well, but this live album blew it out of the park with how crisp-clean the range of frequencies are. hills.
