An arid blackness consumes the land and extinguishes life as it spreads. The days of Darkness fall upon the earth; the blight of mankind draws to an end. It has been damned since inception—always depraved, no hope for redemption. Its nature, founded on destruction, has doomed itself to eradication. Bleed the wretched souls, drain them of their vile life. Do not let slip one single sniveling fool from the wrath. Retribution must be made. It has been damned since inception—always depraved, no hope for redemption. Its nature, founded on destruction, has doomed itself to eradication. An arid blackness has consumed the land. All human life has been extinguished. The days of Darkness draw to a close; the time of rebirth can begin. We were damned upon inception. It’s in the core of our beings to bring chaos to this world. Wiped from the face of an unjustly strangled planet, in time, the blink of an eye, forgotten.
The world we once knew begins to grow and flourish. Without the human race, flora and fauna can finally live without the constant threat of utter annihilation. In the grand scheme of things, what does any of this really matter? Entropy constitutes the destruction of all things.
Track Name: Wretched Whore
My wretched acquaintance brings naught but misery to my world. She is sorrow incarnate. High atop the world she sits; no one can bring her down. She is hubris incarnate. Yet still, I strive for a sane existence, strive to maintain my reason and lucidity. My time apart from her puts the world in a different perspective, but she is never very far away. My wretched acquaintance brings naught but misery to my world. She is sorrow incarnate. High atop the world she sits; no one can bring her down. She is hubris incarnate. I hope to spit in the face of this sordid whore and recant my dependence upon that which I do not need. My anguish shall now and forever be hers. I’ll laugh as this fucking whore bleeds. I’ve killed the part of myself connecting me to you; and with your victim gone, you’ll sure find another to fill the role, but I’ll be rid of your carcinogenic ways and able to live my own life for the rest of my days.
Track Name: Life As A Dream
Distant memories…days long since passed… I look back on these times with great feelings of nostalgia. The way the sunlight shone through the leaves in summer, for the first time, is a sight I wish to behold again. Days and weeks were spent sprinting through the amber fields, through fluorescent woods, and across the purest streams in all the land. Everything was so new, so perfectly extraordinary, and I was filled with a sense of outright awe. As days, as hours, as seconds pass by these visions dull but increase in magnificence. O, how the forest glowed and seasons seemed like weeks is a marvel I deeply yearn to feel again. And when I find myself in times of bedlam, I find solace in these perfect memories and take great comfort in the fact that in time, these days will all become part of that dream.
[Night of Chaos]
As darkness overtakes my mind and I’m ravaged by the chaos of life, I question existence…both mine and that of all the world. Nothing makes any sense and I spiral toward the bottom, forgetting every single joy that made any and all of this worth it…all of this pain, sorrow and seemingly unfulfillable longings…I lose sight of the perfection of life…
[Day of Clarity]
…but then everything becomes completely and wholly clear. This clarity brings daylight back to my frigid, arctic world and I bask in the warm and empowering rays of worth. Our choice to live happily is forgotten short after birth.
